Jesus Himself declared, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). The soul’s eternal destiny outweighs all earthly gain.
Beloved, this is a call to radical self-examination.
Are we living for the applause of men or the approval of our Savior? Are our daily choices reflecting the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives? The Bible teaches us that faith without works is dead (James 2:26). True faith manifests in actions that glorify God and advance His kingdom. Our lives must bear fruit that remains—lives marked by love, service, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to Christ.
To those who feel complacent or lukewarm, hear this: the time to awaken is now, the opportunity to live fully surrendered to Christ is fleeting.
The clock is ticking, and eternity is certain. Let us not waste this precious gift of life on trivial pursuits or worldly distractions. Instead, let us commit ourselves wholly to the Lord, knowing that what we do for Him echoes into eternity.
In surrender, there is purpose. In obedience, there is joy. In Christ, there is lasting significance. May this truth penetrate your heart and stir you to action. Only one life is given; only what is done for Christ will last. Choose today to live for Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
The eternal rewards await those who faithfully serve the King of kings.
